Event Description: This is the staff cadet and staff adult course for Field Operation and Leaguer Field Operations, held at AFTC Camp Rilea. During this course you will be given the tools and opportunity to refine leadership skills learned during POLA and put them into practical application as the staff contingent. This course is physically and mentally challenging. CO's please assure cadets are physically and mentally sound and prepared to handle this course. A PRT must be passed upon arrival, if a cadet cannot complete the PRT they will possibly need to be sent home or transferred to another less demanding course. Course focus will be: * Marksmanship (EST 2000). * Movement exercises. * Obstacle course challenge (part of final evaluation). * Building and room clearing exercises (monut house). * IED and grenade awareness. * Weighted marches. * Land Navigation. To staff any events (except culinary) at Camp Blackheart this is the course to attend.

Lodging Notes: Cadets will be sleeping in military housing, bunks and mattresses are provided by the facilities but please bring at least a sleeping bag or 2 sets of sheets and 1 pillow.
Travel Notes: Driving: * Arrival: *Arrive at Camp Rilea AFTC no earlier than 0800 and no later than 1100 hours 03AUG19. * Departure: * Departure will be at approximately 1200 on 11AUG19, there might be some delays to this time frame. * If you need to leave immediately after graduation due to travel times or arrangements please contact the COTC for prior approval. Plane, train or other forms of transport needing to have cadets transported to Camp Rilea from Portland, OR. If transportation of a cadet to or from Camp Rilea to Portland is needed please contact the COTC at least 5 days (120 Hours) before 03AUG19 to make arrangements. Failure to contact the COTC may result in added costs to you to arrange transport to Camp Rilea (eg. Uber, Lyft, etc.) * Arrival: * Follow the SOP for travel that will be emailed to you upon registration. * Arrive at Portland International Airport (PDX) no later than 1800 on 02AUG19. * Check into Portland USO upon arrival. * No meals will be provided on 03AUG19, please ensure that your cadet has appropriate funds to acquire enough food to survive till the first meal on Saturday Morning 03AUG19. *Departure: * No earlier than 1600 on 11AUG19. From Portland International Airport (PDX). * This is to allow enough time for graduation and transporting cadets to the airport from the training facility. OFFICERS ONLY! Driving: * Arrival: *Arrive at Camp Rilea AFTC no earlier than 0800 and no later than 1100 hours 04AUG19. * Departure: * Departure will be at approximately 1200 on 11AUG19, there might be some delays to this time frame. * If you need to leave immediately after graduation due to travel times or arrangements please contact the COTC for prior approval.
