Event Description: Cadets will be taught proper food handling, kitchen safety, nutrition and food allergy awareness. Cadets will learn to plan and prepare meals daily (3 per day) as well as how to manage minimizing of food waste and how to group meals with like ingredients.
Event Notes: Training is at a National Guard Armory, there will be military personnel on site daily. It is expected that cadets and staff will not interfere in the military daily operations. Lodging Notes: No lodging is available on site prior to training start. If you are arriving before the training and need lodging you will have to check the Cambridge area for a motel/hotel. Cadets will be berthed at the facility. Travel Notes: If flying or busing in you MUST email COTC to go over travel itinerary so that rides from arrival location to drill location can efficiently be scheduled and the reverse is true for departure at the end of the training.
